Our school was donated trees to plant in order build on future walks by the Woodland Trust. Year 1 were helped by our gardening superstars, Mr Evans and Ronnie. In Year 1 we have been looking at Addition and Subtraction. The children have used the conkers outside to help them work out their calculations. We looked very carefully at what symbol was in the middle. We could use the conkers to take away the amount and work out the answer.
In Year 1 we have been planting bulbs in our outdoor area.
