The children in Year 3 were looking at the force of magnet and investigating to see if it can still attract metal from a distance. They took part in different activities and were able to use scientific vocabulary to explain their findings.
Reception have enjoyed getting wrapped up warm to explore the cold and frosty weather. They have explored melting, told the story of We're Going on a Bear Hunt and have created their own artwork in the ice. In Year 3 we had a visit from the school nurses to have a talk about dental hygiene and how to look after our teeth.
Year 3 have been thinking about Jesus’ teachings and how it isn’t always easy following Jesus’ advice. We had a hot seating session where some of our children were questioned as Jesus or the Rich Man. The children were able to ask some thoughtful questions.

The Worship Team led a fabulous assembly speaking about love and its importance of giving to others regardless of differences.
Year 3 had a fabulous time at their Christmas Party yesterday. There was singing, dancing and lots of party food. We are definitely feeling festive!
Our infants put n a fantastic performance for the children and parents at St Luke and St Philip's Church. A big thank you to all the Key Stage 1 staff for their hard work and effort with bringing it all together.
Year 3 have been searching 3D shapes and using mathematical vocabulary to describe their features to their partners. We had so much fun!
